What a wonderful meeting we had last month! It truly felt like spring was in the air as we gathered, chatted, and enjoyed reconnecting with one another. As always, the quilts shared during Show and Share were exceptional. I never fail to be inspired by your creativity and craftsmanship—and 22 quilts shared? Absolutely fantastic! The lecture was equally inspiring. At first glance, I wondered if the fabrics might feel a bit subdued, but after Linda Nitzen’s trunk show, I was completely won over. The quilts were stunning! And did you catch that they were made in Norway? You can explore more of these beautiful designs at Tildasworld.com. I’m especially looking forward to April’s workshop and creating the Tilda Hometown Henhouse pillow! I continue to be so impressed by the generosity of our group. Month after month, you bring in meaningful donations—heart pillows, knit caps, walker caddies, and more. What a remarkable group of philanthropists you are. While we all enjoy growing our skills and creativity, the work we do to support children and adults in need is truly the heart of our guild. Please keep up this incredible effort. At this month’s board meeting, we spent time discussing the upcoming August auction. More details will be shared as we get closer, but now is a great time to start thinking about what you might like to donate. We’ll also be opening the auction to the public, so consider who you might invite to join us. Wishing you all a fantastic April!
