Hello CBQ Members!
It’s almost Spring. I love the colors and scents of the season. The spring fabrics are in the shops with cute patterns. Inspiration seems to be everywhere!
The Bylaws and Board Policy Committee has been hard at work. Thank you to Beth Stanton, Susan Wamsley, Evie Reinstra, Emily Smith, and Diana Wheeler. They put in hours of effort. We had at least 6 hours of in-person meetings plus work at home. We have tried to streamline the language and simplify things. We will send it out after the Board has a chance to vote on it at the Board meeting in early April. We will make it available to all of you to read in April and vote on the revised document at the General Meeting at the end of April.
I hope some of you are thinking of taking a position either on the CBQ Executive Board or as a committee head. Many people are stepping down because they have reached their term limit or just need a rest. Please be open to taking a position. Many jobs can be shared. Many jobs can be done at the meeting. We have had cochairs in the past and it helps relieve the responsibility on just one person. We have even had Co Presidents.
We have some great classes coming up. Be sure to sign up! There are some great speakers coming up, as well. Please try to stay after the break during the meeting to hear their presentations.
I’m looking forward to seeing you at the end of the month at our General Meeting!

UFO BOWLING
During our February meeting, I reminded everyone that UFO bowling isn’t really a competition and that while you can earn a prize by finishing the ten projects, the real point is that you get those projects finished. The first project to finish is #7 on your list.
