​    ANTICS AT THE QUILT SHOW

   Sunbonnet Sue...Love her or hate her, she's here to stay. This quilt was a winner at the 2023 Festival of Quilts in Birmingham, England.

   Handi Quilter's Best in Show in the Group Quilts category was designed a created by the "Nine to Five" quilting group.  It reflected their experiences and feelings following the show in 2022.

  The quilt measures 92 cm (36.22 inches) by 227 cm (89.37 inches).  The techniques the group mentioned being used were appliqué, beading, machine and hand embroidery,  trapunto, painting, and soldering!
